چکیده

ABSTRACT The presence of pulsating stars in eclipsing binary systems (EBs) makes these objects significant since they allow us to investigate the stellar interior structure and evolution. Different types could be found EBs, such as δ Scuti variables. EBs have been known for decades, increasing number is important understanding pulsational structure. Hence, this study, research was carried out on southern TESS field discover new EBs. We produced an algorithm search detached semidetached considering three steps: orbital period (Porb)’s harmonics Fourier spectrum, skewness light curves, classification upsilon program. If two steps classify a system EB, also identifies it EB. pixel files targets were analysed see whether fluxes contaminated by other systems. No contamination found. researched existence pulsation through with visual inspection. To confirm Scuti-type oscillations, variation removed from curve, residuals analysed. Consequently, we identified 42 candidates Porb, L, MV calculated. Their positions H–R diagram orbital-pulsation relationship examined our if any them showed frequency modulation discovered one candidate tidally tilted pulsators.

SuperWASP discovery and SALT confirmation of a semi-detached eclipsing binary that contains a delta Scuti star

Aims. We searched the SuperWASP archive for objects that display multiply periodic photometric variations. Methods. Speci cally we sought evidence for eclipsing binary stars that display a further non-harmonically related signal in their power spectra. Results. The object 1SWASP J050634.16 353648.4 has been identi ed as a relatively bright (V ∼ 11.5) semi-detached eclipsing binary with a 5.104 ...

The first high-amplitude delta Scuti star in an eclipsing binary system

We report the discovery of the first high-amplitude δ Scuti star in an eclipsing binary, which we have designated UNSW-V-500. The system is an Algol-type semi-detached eclipsing binary of maximum brightness V = 12.52 mag. A bestfitting solution to the binary light curve and two radial velocity curves is derived using the Wilson-Devinney code. We identify a late A spectral type primary component...

Period change and δ Scuti pulsations of eclipsing binary star RZ Cassiopiae

RZ Cas is an Algol-type partial eclipsing binary, the secondary component of which has filled its Roche lobe. Its visual magnitude is 6.18 and its period is 1.195 days. The most important characteristics of RZ Cas are period change (due to mass transfer) and anomalies in the primary minimum of its light curve (due to δ Scuti pulsations). In this paper, light curves of RZ Cas are obtained using ...

MOST satellite photometry of stars in the M 67 field : Eclipsing binaries , blue stragglers and δ Scuti variables ⋆

We present two series of MOST (Microvariability & Oscillations of STars) space-based photometry, covering nearly continuously 10 days in 2004 and 30 days in 2007, of selected variable stars in the upper Main Sequence of the old open cluster M67. New high-precision light curves were obtained for the blue-straggler binary/triple systems AH Cnc, ES Cnc and EV Cnc. The precision and phase coverage ...
